2014 Forrest Jamcamp

Forrest JamcampThe first jamcamp for 2014 is planned for Forrest in Victoria. Nestled in the heart of the Otway Ranges, Forrest has become one of the best holiday destinations in the Hinterland of the Great Ocean Road area.

The 2014 Forrest Jamcamp will run from Friday 16th May to Sunday 18th May.

The $350.00 registration fee covers all tuition, handouts, accommodation and meals.

  • Full ground rules and etiquette of typical jams
  • How to find melodies, fake solos, carry a tune, sing harmony

  • Only four chords needed, G, C, D, and A.
  • Gentle tempos, mistakes expected
  • How to lead songs and how to follow new songs
  • Ear skills taught and emphasised, as in real bluegrass

    Hi Greg, I am absolutely keen on banjo/bluegrass camps and was just wondering if you guys will do one this year (2014) in Western Australia. I didn’t make it to Majimup last year!! Do you think you will do another??

    • Steve there is none planned for 2014 although U am running jam sessions at the Manjimup Festival this year in October.
      If you’d like details let me know or check the making music in manjimup website.
