I have also included links to Pete Wernick’s Jamming DVD’s.These are arguably the best DVD’s available today and are closely aligned with the structure and presentation of my “Wernick Method” jam camps. Everyone should have at least one of the Pete Wernick DVD’s. They are a valuable learning tool and a great reference source for the future. I will have these DVD’s and a selection of others available at the camp for sale. Some useful material:

![]() You will need to bring along a few songs of your own that you know and can lead us to sing and play. (Fear not, we’ll teach you how). While the aim of the weekend is to learn, join in and build confidence, the important thing is to have fun. |

What’s Next?
You have some work to do before your arrival at the camp. One of the most important things to do now is to spend some time watching the following YouTube clips and become familiar with the song’s melodies. You do not need to learn to play these songs – just become familiar with the melodies. I will teach you how to play along with these and many others at the jam camp.
By way of introducing you to some of the heroes of bluegrass music and some of the songs we will be playing at the jam camp, I invite you to have a look at these video clips below. Please note we will play them much slower than some of these are played.

Books and DVD’s
I have included some easy to learn and play songs, along with some recommended song books for the future. I have also included links to Pete Wernick’s Jamming DVD’s. As stated above, these are arguably the best DVD’s available today and are closely aligned with the structure and presentation of the “Wernick Method” jam camps.
Our Song Book:
I have also provided a link to download the words and chords to a few songs we will be playing (among others) over the weekend – See the image to the right headed “Jam Camp Songbook.”
You are also encouraged to bring along a few songs of your own that you know and can lead us to sing and play. Download our jam camp song book which may help you choose something easy if you don’t have something available.
The aims of the jam camps are to learn, join in and build confidence, but we do have a lot of fun in the process.
